Rocky Mountain Conservancy’s Families on the Trail series is designed to make it easy for young children and their families to experience Rocky Mountain National Park. We’ll meet at a designated location in Estes Park or Grand Lake (summers only), and travel to the trail head together in the Rocky Mountain Conservancy vehicle. Our RMC Education Fellows will lead the hike, sharing age-appropriate ecology lessons, nature-based crafts, or an introduction to outdoor skills along the way.
Families on the Trail programs are free to attend, but since space is limited on the bus, pre-registration is required for each event. These programs are designed for preschool and elementary school age children, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. We hope to see you on the trail!
