Tribes & Traditions: Native Americans in Rocky Mountain National Park

Long before us, Native Americans called this place home. Through this fun exploration through time, children will be able to experience part of what life was like for the Native children that lived in this area long ago! Kids will learn how Natives started their day, what they ate, daily chores, and will even get the chance to learn and play a few of the games that some of the earliest settlers loved. Participants will learn a basic understanding of which Native people once lived in what is now Rocky Mountain National Park, and what life was like for those Natives both long ago as well as today.
