Families on the Trail – Sprague Lake

Join us for a free half-day excursion in Rocky Mountain National Park!
We will travel together on the RMC bus to Sprague Lake, where we’ll hike around the lake and learn about the plants and animals that live there. This program is open to elementary school-aged children and their caregivers, and younger children are also welcome to attend. The hike is less than 1 mile along level, smooth terrain, but it may not be suitable for strollers.
Space is limited to 14 participants, and pre-registration is required. Choose the morning or afternoon session.
Who: Elementary school-age children AND their caregivers
What to bring: Warm layers, sun protection, and lots of water and snacks
Where: Meet at the Estes Park Visitor Center, 500 Big Thompson Ave, Estes Park
When: Friday, October 21 at 8:30 am OR 1 pm (select morning or afternoon trip)
