Hike with a Naturalist: Bridal Veil Falls

#OptOutside and make your way to picturesque Bridal Veil Falls

Enjoy a moderate 6.6 mile blissful hike past historic McGraw Ranch and through mountain meadows to the rocky grotto in Cow Creek canyon. This hike takes you through meadows and follows a creek stream that ends at dramatic Bridal Veil Falls. This family-friendly hike is suitable for everyone who is ready for 964 ft elevation gain. Expect to be on the trail for 3 hours with plenty of breaks.

We’ll meet in downtown Estes Park and travel together in the RMC vehicle to the trailhead. Entrance fees to Rocky Mountain National Park and transportation are included in your registration fee.

Participants should dress in warm layers, with gloves and a warm hat, and wear sturdy hiking shoes/boots. Be prepared for snow on on the trail! We strongly recommend traction devices for your shoes, such as micro-spikes or YakTrax. These are available to rent or purchase at the Estes Park Mountain Shop or the Estes Park YMCA Mountain Center.

Please bring a backpack with plenty of water and snacks.
